How to breed budgies?

i have 2 budgies, they are not in an aviary and are both older than a year. They sit in my living room in a normal household cage. would somebody be able to tell me briefly how to breed them? what are the essential must haves to make a successful breeding? problems? best answer for most brief yet effective answer
