Light bleeding right after , just wonder what could be the culprit.?

It was around 12am this morning me and my husband were doing the baby dance and immediately after wards there was bright pinkish red blood and once I got up to the restroom to clean up there was nothing and nothing all day. I am not cramping anymore since ovulation which I am 7 dpo, every once and a while i'll feel a twinge but nothing tylenol can't cure. My period is due in 7 days so i'm really confused and before I give my dr. a call i would like to see if anyone else has experienced it. Also note I have not taken a hpt cause it's too early and i would like to just wait and see if af arrives or not, before I start stressing over tests.I really appreciate any feedback.
