Macbook pro, adobe flash player not working even after successful install?

I just got a macbook pro too. The exact same thing happened to me and I thought something was wrong but nope. I forgot to restart the mac after I installed flash. So restart the computer after installing flash again, that solved my problem, I hope it solves yours too.
