Bank of America Savings Account Question.?

I have a Myaccess checking account and a regular savings account. On the 25th of every month 25 dollars from my checking is transferred to my savings. I recently quiet my job (yeah, big mistake) and I'm starting to run low on money in my checking. Will I get penalized for not having enough money for the transfer? Also, how can I end the transferring of money every month or possibly just end my savings account all together?
