In what ways are Chicagoans and New Yorkers different. Also, how are the cultures similar and different?

I chose to move to Chicago because it is MUCH cleaner and friendlier than NY. New York is too crowded, rude and dirty and I was not impressed with the city itself at all either. When I came for a Chicago visit I loved it right away and have moved here since and never regretted it for one second. There is so much to do here every single day I love it!
