How come only one of my wheels works?

I have a 98 Mustang V6 and I tried to do a standing burnout like ones you see posted on YouTube. Well as I was attempting it, I saw that my driver side wheel didnt spin, only the left one. Supposedly, Mustangs are all rear wheeled cars and both wheels are supposed to spin no matter what. Help me out.
