How much do baby aquatic cles cost and were they worth it?

I plan on calling the Ymca tomorrow but would like to find other ladies that have actually done it with their little ones. How much did it cost you? And did you find it was worth the money and really benefited the baby. My girl is 9 months and swim season is upon us. We have access to pools on our military base and my parents all have an in ground pool, so she'll be getting in the water a fair bit.
