End of the world really soon?

As a layperson, I too have been fascinated by end time events and have a pion to study Bible prophecy and read books concerning this issue. I believe one has to focus on events in the Middle East to appreciate where we are on the end time clock. Once I realized that Israel (and particularly Jerusalem) will be the epicenter of the end times, then it became easier to see, watch and understand the things going on around the globe as it relates to end times. To specifically answer your question, I am observing things take place today that I would never have imagined 20 years ago. Could we be very close? Yes.
